Solar Powered Battery Case

For those who don’t know much about solar power, a solar panel is a flat surface that consist of cells which harness power from the sun. Solar panels can be used for powering anything electronic from large scale projects like powering an entire town to something small like a LED. Hundreds of companies make ‘solar’ phone cases and even more make cases for phones. Since so many people own phones many people would benefit from having a solar powered charging case. A statistical resource from the internet from a survey from 2014 stated, “around 63.2 million people own an iPhone”. This statistic shows the market for phone cases just for iPhones, so it would not be tough to sell a solar phone case. Also in a 2014 survey of 533 iPhone users, the results showed ,’’86% of respondents said that they did in fact use a case”. So not only do many people own phones, but they are also buying iPhone cases. This proves that there is a huge market for selling a solar charging case for iPhones.
